Hello
The studios have been busy with tracking, mixing mastering and duplicating some really cool projects.
The Bitchin Babes put the final touches on their new CD: Diva Nation.
Its another collection of clever funny songs and sensitive ballads. Superb harmony from the women
who know what they like , what they want, and what to do about it all! The CD has already received airplay around the nation including spins on WCBE
Singer songwriter Tracy Harris has finished her CD Not Too Far From Here. Its a collection of fifteen songs that range in style from Bluesy folk to Dire Straits rock. The CD features regional session
greats like Larry Cook (of Parkersburg West Va.) on guitars and bass. Sammy Hoof on Drums singers Kay Harris, Darchelle Williams and Larry Raimy. And Andy Carlson on violin who has also appeared on REM cd's. This is a CD to look for!
Jeff Jordan has been in with former Columbusite singer Christi Gehrish now of NYC. The Cd will release under the group name Olentangy2. The songs are written by Jeff and sung by both Jeff and Christy. They have a unique sound in that Jeff has that masculine gravel timbre and Christi has one of sweetest sounds to grace our studios in many years. Look for this one early this year.
On the Rock front we completed a Cd for the Jester Band . All songs penned by Jack lead singer
and lead guitarist
Red Eye Dawn has also been back recording new songs for an upcoming release. This band features two lead singers that can belt with the best of them. The writing has a rock edge and the Cd will be their best effort yet. Also scheduled to be released this year.
On the R&B, blues front: Dean Francis has two new projects well underway.
A crossover/inspirational CD by Destiny a thirteen year old singer with pipes that are amazing and
Miss Niki the blues chanteuse of regional acclaim. Dean has written and arranged the songs
and brought in players like Mark Jackson from Nex Level and the famous Larry Humphries from Dayton whose bass playing is legendary. Its always a pleasure to track with Dean as he is
an international artist and producer with vision. Don't miss these CD's!
SOS productions producer/writer Papa Stef and co writer artist Niki Nicole have produced some masterful crossover songs in the R&B pop category.
Reviews of the material by the major labels has been great and interest from TV shows and Indie labels has been steady. Look out Columbus cuz somebody's been working at Amerisound with their eyes and ears on the Billboard charts!
On the Hip Hop Front : Supa MC is well on his way to a solo release. With cameos from
rappers Freeway,Keith Murray, Planet Asia, Phil Da Agony, J Rawls and Rock from Heltah Skeltah
Supas joints are not run of the mill. Each song makes a unique statement and every track has its own vibe. Look for this one soon.
Stellar Phenom has tracked over a dozen songs. Stellar has amazing skills and can rip verses
with the best. The raps run deep and pack provocative heat!
Lion Hearted Records has also been in tracking songs for a new release. These guys are not playin
and the songs show masterful metaphorical abilities!
OmniBreed artist C 10 has been in mastering a whole new CD. C 10 is a remarkable writer with killer lyrics to make you think. He also uses a wide variety of beats and styles to “set off” his explosive
talent. Check this Cd out its top notch.
On the Gospel front Chris Lawson has been in recording songs for a new CD. Chris works with a great band that leads the praise and worship services at Vineyard Church in Newark.
Chris's songs and production are on par with groups like The Hill Band of Australia
These songs have the inspiration and the studio execution to take Chris and company to a new level.
Edan Shafstall has helped engineer this one and Edans expertise as a drummer and third degree black belt in pro tools has contributed greatly to making this project sound incredible!
Hafadi Records has also been in working on three CD's. Artists include Jabrel Harrison, Nicole Davis and producer/writer Emma Easton or as we like to call her E2. The new singers are highly skilled and heartfelt. Hifadi sponsors great gospel concerts in town often at the Gospel Arts Cafe. Lift your spirits and life by checking these projects out!
Rodney Fullerton has a jazz gospel Cd on its way to completion. Singers have been in all the way from South Carolina. The musicianship on this project is awesome. This one should wrap up soon, so be on the lookout!
On the jazz scene. Josh Snyder has been in recording some great music. Josh plays jazz at a skill level way beyond his eighteen years. Its hard to believe how agile and sophisticated his playing is at such a young age.
On the ad front:
New Jingles for Namco Swimming pools of New York and New Jersey. These came in through
Brainchild.
A Jingle and song were written and produced by Dan Green and Ronn Price for a new franchise
called Kidz Tempo.
Issue 2 (which won in the November election) also had the team write and produce a jingle for
the campaign. This one came in through Sean Amann at Brick Audio.
We also cut a series of PSA'S for Pfizer for the HRM Consultant firm

To date Amerisound has recorded, engineered,
or produced over 350 original music projects, along with
1,000's of individual songs and demo recordings. Through
studio releases alone, the facility has generated album/CD
sales topping 250,000 units worldwide. And in the area of original
collaborations, Amerisound has written and produced 100's of
corporate branding compositions, jingles, scores, and movie
and animation soundtracks. Over the span of some thirty
years Amerisound's vision has been focused through its
passion for creation.
