TIME 2 REBOOT: After missing a few months of Studio Notes due to illness and playing commitments but............. Let's JUST MOVE ON!
WINTER - 07
We got our blues on with sessions by the Mike Weinstock Blues Band. Plenty of good music to heard here!!
RICART Automotive came in to work on music tracks with our jingle production staff for a series of TV spots. They're dealin'..... all the time!!!!!
Wisconsin based gospel label "Brothers of Unity" started work on a gospel CD featuring local pastor
Ronnie Hoard, formerly known as "Diamond" from the popular 70s & 80s funk band the
Ohio Players. (He was their lead singer.) So much talent heeding the calling!
National producer, Ronn Price, returned to the studio to start work on
Debbie Clements' current children's CD with striking music beds and backing vocals. This is
Debs 5th project with our studio, thanks hon!!!
And Evergreen jingles used Amerisound to cut vocals for their jingle production for a Federal Credit Union in upstate N.Y.
SPRING - 07
We found ourselves recording the Latin horn band, Banda San Bernardo. Thanks for letting us record and get to hear such great sounds & musicianship!!
Capitol - WMG recording artist, Biz Bone, continued work on current projects and what an intense vocalist!! Great concentration!!!
Singer-songwriter K.D. Moore, tracked his newest CD from beginning to end with the able talents of session musician-producer,
Larry Cook, programming all the drum parts & played all the guitar, bass and keyboard parts. And even brewed up a quiche for lunch on day..............Just kidding! This is K.D.'s 3rd CD with us; Thank you K.D.!! Plus.............. he brought in Jimmy Buffet's harmonica man, "Fingers".
Our longtime friend and musical brother, Dean Francis was pouting the finishing touches on his current urban music CD titled
"Funkamajazz".
Visual Dreams, 614 rappers, are in all the time polishing their tracks for current and future release.
And local music entrepreneur, Chuck Brown, mixed and mastered all 16 tracks of multi-artist CD over a 6-week period.
Bill Hessin, a nationally known voice-over talent, recorded tracks to sell real estate all over the U.S. for a national firm.
Early - SUMMER - 07
Hip-boppers, Verbal Delegation, laid down some righteous bits with conviction.
Politically active folksier, Victoria Parks, just finished her CD roasting all politicians (local-regional-national), on her comedic skewer. Fight'n the good fight is always good for ones soul!!
And once again Dean Francis started work on his com temporary gospel CD "Touch My Life" tracking vocals and keys plus using all sorts of fellow Columbus musicians! Right on!
Debbie Clement's production company was in recording an educational CD for children's publisher
Zaner-Bloser based here in C-bus!!
And along those lines, Mark Rossio (the Marvelous Toy) started work on his newest children's CD by musically conspiring
Larry Cook to bring to life his song concepts. A good time was had.
And our newest, bestest, all male accappella friends, High Street
Singers, cut their 2nd CD with us over 3 sessions. Such a great blend of voices, musical concepts and arrangements!!!
As I look back on all this activity, I want to apologize to anyone or group I missed and we will C U further down da road. Keep the vibe!!

Amerisound's favorite Dean of Funk,
Dean Francis, was in this month cutting blistering Urban Inspirational tracks.
And Bill Goldberger, musical theater composer, was in again with his newest offering with
Ronn Price producing, arranging and vocalizing with help from his son
Ben and Columbus session vocalist extraordinaire,
Kay Harris.
We also performed some audio tech work for the
Licking County Court of Common Pleas and have performed the same sort of work for the
Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Music composer and producer, Tom
Martin, was in overseeing dub sessions for Debbie Clement's project.
Hip-hop producer, Chuck Brown, mixed and mastered some current tracks from his clients with
Dan Green and Edan Shaffstall.
And Virgin Records artist Bizzy Bone was tracking vocals for his music producer from the left coast.
We all enjoyed Thanksgiving with our families & friends and hope you celebrated the holiday yourselves.

New Colony Records returned to track song demos for a future CD. Exec. Producer,
Joe Waters holding the production reins while super session musicians
Larry Cook & Ronn Price adding their talents.
National known auto dealer and marketing genius,
Fred Ricart, came in to record and update commercial audio tracks for sales promotions broadcast all over the Ohio market place. He's dealin'!!
Left coast music producer, Ernie
Romeo, booked time for his production buddy, Bizzy Bone to track some amazing vocals tracks. Very intense!
Singer Lisa Wells cut a 5 song vocal demo with owner operator
Dan Green producing & engineering.
Contemporary Christian group, The
Stinsons, were in to record a song for release this late Fall. Getting out the word brothers & sisters!
Rap producer, Chuck Brown, started the Mastering process of his 15 song CD and the good work continues.
Inspirational music producer Ernest Carter brought in song transfers to be worked on in order to move forward to the mixing process of his project. Movin on up, bro'!!
Vocalist Kate King came in to record her college audition CD to submit to university as a music education major. Good luck, Kate!!!
